The skin is the biggest organ of the body and renews itself every 30 days. As we age, the skin’s cell renewal process becomes less efficient. Tissue repair and cell regeneration slow down, the amount of natural moisture present in the skin is reduced, and because collagen production is less, the skin becomes thinner, loses its flexibility and plumpness and becomes more prone to lines and wrinkles. Royal Jelly, however, contains nutrients that support skin renewal and acids that can contribute to increased collagen production and elasticity; optimal for firmer, youthful-looking skin.
