Madeline Balletta, Founder and President
Nearly twenty five years ago, when I was a young mom with two small children, I woke up one day feeling more tired than usual and it just seemed to linger. It seemed like I could no longer properly care for my family or myself and I found myself pushing my kids off more and more on their grandparents. I spoke to everyone about it and I tried everything, but nothing seemed to work until a friend told me about the importance of good nutrition and a natural substance from the beehive called Royal Jelly.
After taking Royal Jelly for a few months, along with eating a healthy diet, I began to really see a difference... I began to feel better than ever! I had more energy, stamina and vitality! I was feeling great! Everyone around me was noticing the difference, particularly my husband and my kids! That was the first time I ever realized that good nutrition and natural supplements can play a major role in how we feel every day. And knowing that people everywhere go through times when they feel run down and tired, especially in this fast-paced world, I knew that God led me to this marvelous food substance so that I could help them.
From that day forward, I've dedicated my life to learning as much as I could about nutrition and helping people energize their lives...helping them get the benefits of Royal Jelly to feel great! That's when I started Bee Alive!

I am extremely proud to be running a company that was started by my mother, Madeline Balletta. Knowing that people everywhere want more energy and often go through times when they feel run down, she started Bee Alive to make Royal Jelly widely available. Since then, our company has grown to include other vital nutritional ingredients expanding into three product lines: Royal Jelly Energy Supplements, Essentials Dietary Supplements, and Bee-Moisturized Skin Care.

Denise Boniface, Senior Vice President
As Senior Vice President of Bee-Alive, Denise oversees our Customer Service, Quality Control, Product Development and Legal Departments. That’s a lot of responsibility for one woman… but Denise has such a gift for management (and leadership), and she’s never been one to shy away from responsibility!
Denise began her association with Bee-Alive from the very beginning. As a long-time friend of Madeline and Tony Balletta, Denise witnessed Madeline’s enthusiasm for Royal Jelly firsthand. After Madeline experienced the energetic and nutritious difference that Royal Jelly made in her own life, she began to share it with friends and family. Denise was one of the first to try it… and she saw the results, too! Madeline then asked Denise to join a team of five original consultants who began marketing Royal Jelly through a simple grassroots campaign. They wore buttons bearing the message, “Royal Jelly Works!” From that point on, Denise was part of the Bee-Alive family. The company incorporated in 1984, and she joined as a full-time employee in 1986.
With a background as a teacher in the New York City school system, and an amateur photographer, Denise never suspected that she would develop a career with a company like Bee-Alive. Over the years, Denise’s work at Bee-Alive has included almost every aspect and every department of the company. She truly knows the company inside and out, having worked in areas including customer relations, consultant and product knowledge training, packaging/shipping/filling, and product development.
