Honey Bees In Global Crisis, One Company To Plant One Million Fruit Trees in Aid

(Valley Cottage, NY) June 20, 2011 – Bee-Alive, Inc. announced today the BeeAlive® Trees For Bees Project, an initiative that serves to help restore the honey bee population. Through the participation of BeeAlive’s customers, families and friends, the goal of the project is to plant one million fruit trees by the company’s thirtieth anniversary, in November 2014.

As a kick-off to the “soft launch” of the BeeAlive® Trees For Bees Project in 2011, Bee-Alive, Inc. is sponsoring the screening of a new documentary, Queen of the Sun, at the Downing Film Center in Newburgh, New York. Bee-Alive, Inc. has committed to donating ten percent of proceeds from the sale of all bee products on its website, to the Pollinator Partnership during National Pollinator Week, June 20-26, 2011.

The Pollinator Partnership is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the health of pollinators, that are critical to food and ecosystems, through conservation, education, and research.
